Big Bike Rental in Phuket (2026): X-ADV, TMAX and Monthly Prices
Updated 2 November 2026 · Читать на русском
Big bikes are one of the best ways to see Phuket, and prices vary a lot from shop to shop. In November 2026 we asked more than 15 rental shops across the island for real quotes on a Honda X-ADV 750, for a few days and for several months. Here's what we found, and how to get a good deal.
Daily prices for big bikes
These are daily rates shops on Goja show for short rentals (checked 2 November 2026). Many shops lower the daily rate for rentals of 11 days or more.
| Bike | Engine | Typical daily price |
|---|---|---|
| Honda ADV 350 | 330cc adventure scooter | ฿800 |
| Honda CRF250L / CRF300L | 250–300cc dual-sport | ฿1,000 |
| Yamaha TMAX 560 | 560cc maxi-scooter | ฿1,500 |
| Honda X-ADV 750 | 745cc adventure scooter | ฿1,500 |
| Yamaha MT-09 | 890cc naked bike | ฿2,000 |
| Yamaha R6 | 600cc sport bike | ฿2,500 |
Monthly prices: a wide range
For a monthly X-ADV 750 in November, prices ranged a lot:
- Under ฿30,000 a month for some offers, usually an older bike or a private owner
- Around ฿50,000 a month from established shops with newer bikes
- Up to ฿65,000–75,000 a month for brand-new bikes in peak season, often with crash protection and extras included
What makes the difference is mostly the bike's age, the season, and whether you pay monthly or upfront. In high season (November to April) some shops ask for the whole rental upfront, while others accept monthly payments. In the low season (May to October) the same bikes rent for much less.
Book early. The best-value big bikes go first: by early November some shops already had no X-ADV free for the season. The earlier you ask, the more choice you have on model, colour and price.
Tell us your budget. If your budget is lower than what a new X-ADV costs this month, there are often good options: an older model year, a TMAX, or a 350cc maxi-scooter like the Honda ADV 350, which is far cheaper and still comfortable for two people.
What to check before you pay
Whatever the price, these checks protect you:
- The bike's year, mileage and condition. Ask for photos of this exact bike, not a catalogue picture.
- Who you're renting from. A shop with an address and Google reviews, or someone you can meet in person.
- Insurance and damage terms. Get in writing what you pay if the bike is dropped, scratched or stolen.
- The deposit. How much, passport or cash, and when you get it back.
- Photos and video at handover. Record every side, existing scratches, fuel and the odometer.
- Only pay a large amount once you've seen the bike and have the terms in writing.
Licence and safety
Big bikes are heavy and fast, and Phuket's roads are steep in places and slippery in the rain. You need a licence that covers motorcycles of this size, plus an International Driving Permit that includes motorcycles. Travel insurance often won't pay if you ride without the right licence. Check the current rules with your embassy or IDP issuer before you rent.
